Get entry to St. Peter's Basilica, see Michelangelo's Pieta up close, and enjoy a handy city audio guide for your visit.

Some places are cool, but St. Peter’s Basilica? It’ll leave you totally speechless. The second you step inside, you’re hit with just how massive this place is - it’s actually the biggest church in the world.

The marble floors seem to go on forever under this gorgeous golden light, and the columns are so tall you’ll be craning your neck to see the top. Every corner has some incredible piece of art that took years to make.

You’ll get to see Michelangelo’s Pietà up close - he carved it when he was just 24, and it’s so beautiful and full of emotion that people have been moved by it for over 500 years.

Then there’s Bernini’s huge bronze Baldachin, towering almost 30 meters above the altar. It’s Baroque art at its boldest, and you can really feel the creative energy.

And the best part? You’ll also get access to St. Peter’s Dome, with an elevator ride that skips the first stretch of the climb. From there, you can look down into the Basilica from high above the altar, then take the final 320 steps to the top. Your reward is a breathtaking 360° view of Rome and the Vatican that you’ll never forget.

Don’t miss the famous bronze statue of St. Peter, with a foot worn smooth by millions of visitors, or the stunning mosaics that look like paintings until you get up close and realize they’re made of tiny stones.

Underneath all this, you’re actually standing above the spot where tradition says the Apostle Peter was buried, which gives the whole place a deeper meaning beyond just the art and architecture. Whether you’re into history, faith, or just jaw-dropping beauty, St. Peter’s Basilica is one part of your Rome trip you’ll never forget.
